Young jack fruit Curry/ Polos Curry



INGREDIENTS

  1. 500g tender jack, cut into medium size pieces
  2. 1 onion, thinly sliced
  3. 1 onion thinly sliced to temper
  4. 2 Tomatoes chopped
  5. 4 garlic cloves, chopped to temper
  6. 2 green chilies, thinly sliced
  7. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. 3 to 4 goraka pieces
  9. 2 tbsp chili powder
  10. 1tspn chilli powder to temper
  11. 1/4 tspn turmeric powder to temper
  12. 2 tbsp roasted curry powder
  13. 1 tbsp pepper powder
  14. 1 tsp turmeric
  15. coconut milk (second extract)+ thin coconut milk
  16. Thick  coconut milk
  17. Rampe and curry leaves
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Beef boild with turmeric powder and salt


METHOD



  1. Boil da polos with salt turmeric powder and goraka pieces and once done take off the goraka pieces and to the same pot add all the ingredients and add second coconut milk + thin coconut milk and cook until done. 
  2. When polos pieces are almost fully cooked add cooked beef and thick coconut milk and bring to boil and simmer and cook until the gravy thickens.
  3. To another pan Add mustard seeds and cover with a lid. 
  4. After the mustard seeds pop add to the polos curry and to the same pot add oil and garlic, onion turmeric powder chilli powder  rampe, curry leaves, Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add this mixture to the polos curry.
  6. Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
