Best Belgian Waffle Recipe




Ingredients 



  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 3-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  4. 2 large eggs, separated
  5. 1-1/2 cups milk
  6. 1 cup butter, melted
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. Sliced fresh strawberries or syrup



Method

  1. Take a bowl
  2. Now combine flour, sugar and baking powder. 
  3. Take another bowl, lightly beat egg yolks. Add milk, butter and vanilla little by little and mix well. 
  4. Stir into dry ingredients just until combined. 
  5. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form,fold into batter.
  6. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown. 
  7. Serve with strawberries or syrup. Yield: 10 waffles (about 4-1/2 inches).
